You will not find a more compassionate, supportive, and encouraging person to have in your corner during such an amazing bit overwhelming time in your life. I was able to breastfeed my daughter for 21 months and couldn’t have done it without Michele by my side.

At a time where everything was new, scary, and uncomfortable, Michele was the calm, caring, reassurance and encouragement I needed to work through some of the obstacles I was experiencing as a new nursing mama. Through her support and guidance she helped my daughter and I establish our nursing relationship which, thanks to Michele, lasted 18 months! Michele listened to my concerns, took her time to ensure we were set up, and followed up to make sure we truly felt our issues were resolved. I could not be more thankful for her wisdom and support and will be forever grateful!

There is no one quite like Michele. She immediately makes you feel comfortable, heard, and encouraged with her exceptional bedside manner. With all three of my babies, Michele has been my greatest resource as she has supported me, educated me and encouraged me through anything and everything from position/latch issues to infant hospitalization to mastitis and even simply those feelings of worry and defeat. With her support, knowledge and wisdom, I have successfully and joyfully breastfed my babies (even as a part-time working mom) to 16 months, 19 months and still going strong with my 8 month old. She genuinely loves and cares for the mamas and babies she works with and we count ourselves lucky to have her on our team!

I became passionate with helping moms with breastfeeding when I faced some challenges with my 4th child. At that time I had worked as an RN in NICU, L&D and post partum. I decided to take courses in Lactation at UCLA, UCSD and the Lactation Institute. I became IBCLC certified in 1996 and have been a hospital and private practice LC ever since. I've worked with over 600 families per year and have seen a wide variety of breastfeeding and lactation issues. I love being a part of a growing field that encourages and supports new parents as they strive to nourish their children both physically and emotionally.
